Joe Carter’s Top 100

Joe Carter of the Evangelical Outpost has honored me by placing this blog on his list of 100 Christian blogs he thinks are usually worth a read, though not necessarily because you’ll agree with what you read here. But you already knew that, didn’t you?

This is not a list of the “best Christian blogs” (whatever that might mean) but rather the top 100 blogs that I have found to be the most convicting, enlightening, frustrating, illuminating, maddening, stimulating, right-on and/or wrongheaded by Christians expressing a Christian worldview.

I mention this primarily because I want to recommend EO once again. I don’t recall when I first started reading Joe, but it was not very long after I first discovered “blogging,” and the Evangelical Outpost has been one of my daily must-read blogs ever since.

I even got a chance to meet Joe Carter at GodBlogCon 2005. (He’ll be speaking again at GodBlogCon 2007 in Las Vegas — see the link on the right.) Like most famous people, Joe Carter is shorter in real life than he seems to be in his writing. Go figure.

Thanks, Joe, for the honor, and for all you do to encourage Christian blogging.
