The Episcopal church has not been known of late for its fundamentalist leanings. So one wonders, what sort of homily might we have heard at President Reagan's funeral if the service had been in the hands of one of the Episcopal church's more liberal bishops? Douglas LeBlanc at Get Religion has written a hilarious account of the service that might have been in what I'm calling The Homily from Hell.
